The need

As of January 25, 2021, clinical procedures are no longer subject to deductibles or copayment barriers. Patients’ needs are also constantly evolving, and pharmacy teams now have more tools at their disposal to serve them well. Now more than ever, there is an opportunity to organize clinical procedures in a way that will lead to comprehensive patient care.

Moreover, Regulation C-26 has eased certain restrictions slowing down the application of Bill 41, especially during the pandemic. This is in addition to Bill 31, which significantly redefines the clinical role of pharmacists and the technical contribution of PTAs. Vaccination is the perfect example of this.

The benefit

Ensure that new opportunities created by Bills 31 and 41 are properly harnessed.
